Where is /etc/modprobe.d/aliases in Ubuntu/Mint

Recently I needed to add an alias on my Mint 18.2

Since it is based on Ubuntu this should work for it to.

The /etc/modprobe.d/aliases does not exist and it is not used by OS if you create it.

If you need to add an alias just create a .conf file inside of /etc/modprobe

I added it to
/etc/modprobe.d/aliases.conf

Hope this will help.
